Hinchinbrook Island


Hinchinbrook Island, between Cairns and Townsville, is our favourite island on the east coast of Australia. It is big, beautiful and unspoilt.

Hinchinbrook Island

From Little Pioneer Bay on Orpheus Island to Haycock Island in the Hinchinbrook Channel is about 18nm. Depending on tide, that might take about three hours.
